1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image? I will need to use varying combinations of shutter speed/ aperture  settings.  2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image? I will need a camera, tripod, and a software that blends the photos together to make one HDR photo. 3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image? One reason a person might take an HDR photo is to show the beauty of a place, or maybe to show the characteristics of a city, etc.  4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see  that we might not have seen with just one photo? When you merge the photos together, you will see both the lightest and darkest points of the light spectrum in the picture, rather than just the lightest or the darkest.

Opinion Story

The average teacher makes about $57,000 each year. Doctors usually make about $189,000 per year. The salary of professional athletes, however, can be anywhere from $0.16 million to $5.15 million. Many people feel that these athletes are highly overpaid, and teachers and doctors, for example, are severely underpaid. This has been a debate for many years and will be one for much longer. In my opinion, I agree with those who believe that professional athletes are overpaid. The main purpose of any sport is to entertain people, whereas the main purpose of public service workers is to provide people with all of the education needed and ways of life to help guide you. So overall, yes, I think professional athletes are extremely overpaid. While these sports are very interesting to watch, they are not a necessity for living a healthy, good life. Whereas the purpose of teachers, doctors, police officers, and many other public service workers is to help people grow up with all of the ne

Personal Essays

1. One idea the article gave me that I can use to decide on a topic is to make sure I feel very strongly about the subject. It doesn't matter if it's something big or small, as long as you have very strong opinions about it. 2. An idea from the article I should keep in mind while writing the piece is to write kind of like I'm talking, loose and comfortable. Also I should make sure to include many details to ensure that the readers can relate to my story. 3. One idea that I will keep in mind is the many different types of hooks. You can hook the audience with a question, metaphor, a quote, and more.
